After much planning, we finally had our day wedding and reception at Moongate. The stage facing expansive green lawns, the dance floor in a cosy corner and the cocktail bar overlooking a beautiful lake made for the perfect outdoors location that we had in mind for our wedding. Suraj and Akshatha did an amazing job with the decor. They understood our needs and presented us various options to choose from while keeping our tastes and budget in mind. With minimal guidance, they managed to bring to life the image that we had in mind for our wedding, and even included the many things that we hadn't remembered to ask for 🙂. Our family and friends had a fun filled and memorable day celebrating our wedding at Moongate. The ample space on offer made our guests feel comfortable and safe. After several months of planning, we were unable to finalise a venue for the wedding because of Covid, which had restricted our movement for several days. We were very particular about the venue: 1) had to be in Bangalore 2) had to be spacious, open and very green 3) should have covid policies in place and flexibility to account for any uncertain situations 4) be exclusively booked for only our wedding 5) be available for 2-3 days (26th-27th December, 2021) After visiting multiple resorts/hotels in Bangalore, we finally came across Moongate. And Moongate fit the bill perfectly for all of the above requirements. It is a big beautiful venue, situated just outside of the city hustle. The venue includes a lake, a gazebo, an amphitheatre, and lots of greenery, which meant there was enough space for everyone to chill out during the wedding. I'd like to personally thank Suraj, Akshatha and their team for their hospitality. They made us feel at home, whenever we visited the venue. They also took care of our every single need during the 2 days we had our wedding. They helped us plan the event, and managed the decor for all our events.

I came across Moongate events venue through wedmegood.com... We visited many venues but Moongate was our stop, i knew it was going to be the the place i get married to my bestfriend..
The venue has stages at different locations for all possible events, with a huge dining space along with 40 spacious luxury rooms of varried occupancy.

The owners of this beautiful venue, Suraj and Akshata are amazing. They were incharge of the decorations as well, and were very approachable and helped us throughout the planning process, giving good suggestions on not just decor, but also on different vendors and other things as well. They were personally present through out the events.
Everyone who attended the wedding left the place with fond memories.

Highly recommend this place for a wedding or any special occasions.

This gorgeous place with its carved landscape and the lake took my heart away, it truly was a slice of heaven.When we first went to take a look we fell in love with it.

Suraj and Akshatha were very helpful throughout the entire process.

The location was an added bonus for us due to its close proximity to the airport and it was hit with everyone in our family away from all the city hustle yet so close to everything.

Overall, it was a great experience and it will be a lifetime remembrances of getting married at such a beautiful location, with some great ambience and services... the rooms are great, the lawns are well manicured, the lake view is picturesque, and the staff is efficient and accommodating..

Our wedding happened in Moongate and it was the best decision we made. Located away from the hustle of the city, Moongate is an extremely beautiful place. With lush green lawns and a lake in the backdrop, this place is the best for a destination wedding. We worked with Akshatha and Suraj for planning the wedding. They are very passionate about their work, listen to all your requirements patiently and suggest only the best. Our wedding turned out to be a super hit, which wouldn't have been possible without Akshatha and Suraj. They have been extremely supportive, especially during the last leg of the wedding which is the most stressful time. They were available at any given time, with just a message away putting everything together so beautifully. Every event, the decor and all the arrangements were handled with a lot of attention to detail… which is why every event of ours turned out to be so much better than we imagined. I cannot imagine putting together such a beautiful event without them. Thank you Akshatha and Suraj for making our wedding so beautiful and memorable.

Moongate Venue is like my dream come true. Because it was outside the city it felt like a destination wedding. The place is gorgeous with greenery everywhere and the lake. The venue is well maintained the grass neatly cut. The place is spacious with a hall for the dining, the gazebo, the lawn and the lake. I loved the bride and groom rooms. It was a luxury staying in those rooms. The photographers had a treat and it was an absolute pleasure for them to take the pictures. All my guests stayed even after the wedding reception just to enjoy the scenic beauty. The venue is spacious enough for large gathering to spread out even during the Covid and to sit and just chill. I had many guests who sat by the lake and enjoying themselves near the bamboo grove.

Suraj and his wife Akshatha were so involved in the decoration. They understood our theme and what we were looking for. They gave us many ideas and we had no worry about the decoration at all. It was an absolute pleasure to just see the venue decorated.

We had our daughter's wedding at Moongate events venue last week and it was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Both Suraj and Akshatha were extremely helpful and went great lengths to ensure a lovely experience for all that came for the wedding, especially since this was during the 3rd wave of the pandemic. The decor was tastefully and beautifully done, the landscape lush, green and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The floral decorations at the courtyard, the coloured umbrellas and kites all, the mehendi decor at the gazebo, the bohemian setup near the lake, and the muhurat mantap in orange all got rave reviews from all the guests, and spoken much about even after the events. Moongate resort is well maintained, beautiful and the rooms are spotless and big. Moongate by itself is spacious and serene which is only enhanced by Suraj and Akshata's decor. The storymakerzz as we refer to the team, did a fabulous job with decor and other arrangements we requested. They listened to our requirements and lifted a load off our shoulders on the D-day. After visiting a few outdoor venues, we chanced upon Moongate and met Suraj and Akshatha... we liked the place instantly... everything was planned in just about 3 weeks and I must say that the duo did an excellent job of making the wedding an event to remember... the services provided and the decor were par excellence... the personal involvement of both, Suraj as well as Akshatha, made everything easy...
